AC DRIVES

Kolorrol offers AC Drives. It is digital variable frequency type. It is designed indigenously for harsh industrial use for step less control of induction motor. It helps to reduce operating costs and improve productivity utilising state-of-the-art concept in space vector modulation and IGBT technology. The control circuitry is centered around a 16-bit micro controller. The control method used is space vector modulation (SVM) which ensures optimum utilisation of input voltage and smooth rotation of motor at low speeds. This allows low harmonic distortion and low torque and current ripples, thereby improves output voltage prevents motor and inverters overheats and enhances power factor of motor. Special features: utilising SMD components and PIM modules for higher reliability; 5 programmable binary inputs; 2 programmable binary outputs; 1 analogue input 10 bit; 2 programmable relay outputs; and RS 485 serial interface. Application features: plastic and packaging industries; materials handling in food and beverages manufacturing; chemical, fertilizer and pharmaceutical industries; paper and pulp industry; cement, steel and textile industry; machine tools industries; and conveyors, warehouse system, assembly process and packaging machinery, etc.
