AC Drives

Vacon offers AC Drives. These are available in the power range of 0.25 kW to 5 MW in voltage range 200-690 V AC. The range includes drives for HVAC application, NXP drives for vertical movements like hoisting (cranes and elevators), regenerative drives for centrifuge, hoisting, roller table applications and drives for common DC bus applications like paper machine, steel making, etc. Monitoring and control software allow monitoring and controlling of all drives at a single point with a scan time of 1 m sec. There is a special facility in textile drives to flush the drive power section in cooling duct to avoid fluff accumulation. Features: built-in dedicated RF-ring frame software, built in PLC function, built-in RFI filters, built-in input AC chokes to suppress input voltage surges and protect rectifier and also to suppress harmonics. The drives are IP54 rated and can be mounted directly on machines. All drives are at 50°C ambient temperature. No derating is required. Applications: textile, pulp and paper, cement, steel making, sugar, food and beverages, dedicated drives for water and wastewater, HVAC, and plastic and tyre industries.
