Amtech Electronics (India) supplies the most advanced digital AC drive under the brand name Axpert. These AC drives are available up to 1000 HP and use microprocessor-based control. The inverter uses the latest 3rd generation IGBT technology and the control strategy is S PWM. These drives can be used for constant torque or variable torque applications. For applications above 500 HP, fibre optics technology is used to provide better noise immunity and better performance. The drive has easy to operate keypad and large 7-segment LED display for various indications. Various features of drive are square reduction V/f pattern for energy saving, multi speed operation, traverse pattern function (optional), spinning motor pick up, skip frequencies, kW indication, power loss ride through for 2 seconds, close loop control (optional) and with various motor protections like true ground fault protection, over load protection, and many other standard features. The drive can be offered with various optional features like input AC line reactor, DC choke, dynamic braking, output reactor, output sine filter and customised panel and system automation as per requirements. Also on offer are solutions for harmonic elimination at input of high power AC drives leading to pollution free mains supply.
