Vibro Screen for Sieving of Powder Dyes

Powdered dyes and pigments are required to be pass through 30# screen for security screening before packing. Lower bulk density of product makes it difficult to get height production rates through standard circular vibro separators. Normal 4 ft diameter vibro screen can handle approximately 1 MT per hour of such powder for check screening. This process becomes the bottleneck for such powder producers. Galaxy Sivtek has developed Super Sivtek series machines to overcome this problem for dyes and pigments manufacturers. Super Sivtek 48 is designed in such a way that it can handle approximately 4.5-5 MT per hour of such powdered dye or pigment with 0.6 gm/cc bulk density and security screening application. This is made possible by a unique design developed where heavy size vibration generator unit coupled with a standard electrical motor generates very high centrifugal force. Because of this higher centrifugal force, the vibration level is much higher as compared to normal vibro screen, which results in faster movement of product on screening. Vertical vibration helps in better sieving efficiency even though input flow is higher as compared to normal vibro screen.
