Trough Vibratory Finishing System

Trough Vibratory Finishing System is ideal for large and heavy work pieces. Mass finishing of work pieces having length more than 500 mm and weight about 10 kg, is not possible in finishing machines like round vibrators, centrifugal finishing machine, tumbling barrel, etc. Such components are presently deburred and polished manually by files and portable grinding machines. This process, apart from being very time consuming, results in inconsistent finish. Gala Equipments, has introduced customised trough vibrators for deburring and finishing of large and lengthy work pieces like connecting rods, machine shafts, axles, steering rods of LCVs and HCVs, earth moving parts, hydraulic cylinder and its parts, propeller and its shafts, turbine shafts, impellers and blades, silencer of two wheeler, heavy machined parts, castings and many more. The basic working principle of trough vibrator is similar to round vibratory finishing machine. Instead of round bowl, heavy-duty rectangular trough is used inside which components; media, chemicals and water are loaded. Vibration is generated by special vibration mechanism results in powerful motion between media and parts for achieving required finishing and also arrangement can be done for separation of parts from media (in case of mass production by using separation table and media reloading conveyor). Customised machines of required length and width can be designed as per product specifications, production rate and finish required. Live trials on components can be arranged.
