In this system the process is carried out in a cylindrical container in which the work pieces and the grinding and polishing media rotate at regulated speeds. Disc Finishing machines are available both for wet and dry grinding and polishing. They are ideally suited for grinding, deburring and polishing of both ferrous and non-ferrous metal of varied shapes. Automatic separators are also available which effectively separates the media from the work pieces, thereby eliminating the need for time consuming manual operations. These machines are available in different bowl sizes ranging from 9 litres to 50 litres. Various types and sizes of machines are available for adopting wet process or dry process of grinding and polishing or both the processes.
