Vertical fine boring machine

Widia (India) Limited manufactures vertical fine boring machines with/without auto tool setting. The compact configuration of the machine has high precision dynamically balanced boring spindle, feed system with LM guides and ball screws driven by AC servo motor/hydraulic feed. Precision boring head is provided with auto tool setting facility. This avoids tool retraction mark due to retraction of boring tool on return stroke and helps in precision tool setting by push button up to 1 micron on diameter. Accuracies achieved depends on component configuration, material, its hardness, production rate and tools selected.
