V P Machine Tools offers universal Radial Drill Machine with fine feed and auto lift (heavy-duty), Model SJR 40F. Salient features: ram is made of hard steel and of more thickness; gears are made of graded materials; helical gears used for long life and lower sound; design of the head is prepared with intention to work, accurate job and to help for full production; special spindle bearing arrangement for smooth drilling and boring and it is completely balanced with gears and pulley; spindle is made of EN-8D steel with 6 slots external and internal grinding; all working parts are ground to maximum accuracy; base plate is prepared from vibration free, and of hard materials casting and inside ribs are moulded and T slots are also moulded; base plate upper face is complete ground finished to gain maximum accuracy; metal of the pillar is perfect and no vibration, and is fully lapped, as a result its accuracy and shining remains longer time; table is of heavy fixed type and it is machined in right-angle and on fixture; specially designed work table; cover provided on the top is common to all machines and can be changed without difficulty; it also protects the safety and is cleaned easily; the feed of the machine is very easily engaged and disengaged at any time with safe and reliable feed mechanism; and heavy-duty spindle running in a set of 4 taper nose held within large bearings eliminating vibration due to hanging spindle.
