Peeling and Boring Machine

Riya Industries offers a range of Peeling Machine that is widely used for peeling of thin continuous sheet from flexible polyurethane foam block. These are available with the synchronized reminder unit for peeled sheet to make a roll which can be directly loaded to lamination machinery.

The peeling machine operates in the following manner:

• The centrally mounted block is fed at constantly increasing speed
• The speed of the pressure driven roller is synchronized with the downward movement of the block for uniform cutting thickness

For the cutting of the sheets, a band knife is used that moves over two 600 mm diameter knife wheels. An exchangeable gear is fitted to set the cutting thickness, and another set of gears is provided for variation of the thickness from 2.5 mm to 12 mm, in the increments of 0.5 mm on scale. The rewinding unit is equipped with a meter counter to indicate the total length of the peeled sheet. This machine is capable of peeling a 2 m wide sheet from 1 m diameter blocks.

In addition to this, we also offer Boring Machine that is highly designed to drill the central holes into square or cylindrical foam blocks. Further, the boring shaft is well guided to give the straight bore and is also fabricated for making 60 mm diameter bore in 2 meters long block. Apart from this, we offer these in various sizes as per the requirements of the clients.
