Machine For Facing, Centering, Drilling And Tapping

HYT Engineering Co offers a facing, centering, drilling and tapping machine. This is capable of the above operations and more,on ends of different types of axles/shafts used in various industries like automobile, defence, railways, etc. The machine is available in two versions--single and double ended. It is capable of giving accuracy over length of +4 mm or better, if required. Major parameters: length of axle - 2200 mm (min), 2600 mm (max); diameter of axle - 100 mm (min), 270 mm (max); maximum weight of axle - 1.5 tonnes; and spindle speed - 100-160 RPM, can be varied by pick off gears. The machine comes with unique features such as high precision spindle assembly of milling, centering, and tapping head; hardened and ground guideways for feed-cum-positioning table; location of centering head spindle with respect of axle centre with backlash free V-lock arrangement for accurate location; and axle held on self centering vice, hence alignment of axle centre line with the centre line of centering and drilling is ensured. All gears incorporated in the various heads are carburised, hardened and profile ground. The machine incorporates several safety features.
