Line Drill

Somani Industries offers a Line Drill, Model Somani LD-100. Main features: pneumatically operated drill capable of drilling holes in both down the hole and jack hammer modes – as a perforator, movable on rail for a length of 3 metres on straight line; movement on rail is effected by rack and pinion arrangement; machine is suitable of drilling vertical and horizontal holes; and the rig is provided with ball joint, anchoring rods and adjusting screws to achieve flexibility and rigidity during drilling. Specifications: dimensions of hole – 90 dia to 115 dia; depth of hole vertical – 20 mtr; length of hole horizontal – 10 mtr; drill pipe size – 76.0 mm dia; drill pipe length – 1.5 mtr; minimum centre height of hole from ground – 125 mm; weight (approx) – 610 kg; rotation unit – 4.5 HP; speed – 0 to 50 RPM; feed unit – 4.5 HP; pull up and down – 1500 kg; and air requirement – 10 cm3 at 7 bar.
