Horizontal Boring, Milling & Drilling Machine

Model BFT-80 is a horizontal boring, milling and drilling machine from Geeta Machine Tools. Characteristic features: low friction transmission makes maximum power available at the tool for high material removal, very wide range of speeds and feeds to take care of all the possible machining problems-from the smallest to the largest working diameter, high quality design of the bearing system for the sleeve and outer hollow spindle, all operating elements are ergonomically arranged, close manufacturing tolerances due to precision scraped/ground slideways and fine positioning by dial gauges, vernier or digital readout. Geometric tests conform to DIN-8620. The headstock has three concentric spindles. The outer spindle is hollow. At its front end is fitted the facing head. It runs in a taper bore bronze bearing. The correspondence portion of the spindle has a matching taper. The running radial clearance is obtained by axial adjustment of the spindle. Inside this hollow spindle is a sleeve mounted on class P5 machine tool double row roller bearing. The boring spindle passes through this sleeve. The drive to the boring spindle is through a key fitted in the sleeve, which engages with a keyway along the entire length of the boring spindle to rotate and also travel axially in the sleeve.
