Large sized holes are now being made by making pilot holes and then expanding by drilling higher sizes involving multiple passes / boring / gas cutting and then finishing the internal circumference. The conventional methods take lot of time, costly machine hours and material handling.

Magnetic based core drilling enables:

• Tool to be taken to the job thereby avoiding material handling time
• The tool can be fixed in any position –vertical, horizontal, inclined, upside down
• The hole can be made accurately in one feed-12 mm 100 mm diameter. Saves time &improves productivity many times
• The operation results in removing an annular portion of maximum 3mm thick, leaving the centre portion as round piece. This reduces operating time, tool wear-out & energy consumption. It also saves money by fetching better scrap value for the central round piece
