DRILLING UNITS

Orbital Systems offers Drilling Units. It is pneumatically operated to cater to the needs of SPM manufacturers. It is very compact, accurate and reasonably priced. It is lightweight and can be mounted in any position by means of a suitable bracket. It has a drilling capacity of 8 mm in steel. Total stroke of the machine is 80 mm; controlled feed stroke is 250 mm. It is specifically designed for SPM builders. The total speed range is 700 to 2800 RPM. The various cutting speeds are achieved by changing the belt-pulley combination. The stroke of machine is taken pneumatically. "Hydraulic feed control" unit controls the drilling feed. The depth of the drilling is controlled by means of a stopper. It allows very easy change of "drilling process parameters" even at site after installation.
