Drilling Machines, Pillar Type

Amtech offers pillar drilling machines, manufactured by V P Machine Tools. These come in drilling capacity up to 32 and 38 mm dia holes in steel. The spindle centre to column distance is 254 mm (15"centre module) and 380 mm respectively. The max spindle travel is 152 and 225, max distance spindle nose to table 810 and 670 mm, and spindle nose to base 1120 and 1050 mm respectively. The spindle has 8 gear driven speeds in each case, and the nose bore is MT-3 and MT-4, respectively. The spindle motor is of 1 and 2 HP rating respectively.
