Drilling Machine

Arsun Engineers offers a heavy duty geared head drilling machine, Model AP 40 (pillar type) having drilling capacity of 40 mm in solid steel and 50 mm in cast iron. The drilling motor power is 1.5 kW. The machine has a robust structure with generously provided ribs and appropriate wall thickness for baseplate, arm, column and drill head. The drill head comprises a compact gearbox, fitted with heat-treated alloy steel gears on splined shafts running on anti-friction bearings in an oil bath. It offers 8 spindle speeds and 3 power feeds. Speed range is 53 to 900 RPM and power feed is 0.05 to 0.15 mm/spindle rotation (higher feed rate also available). The long ram travel (200 mm) allows deep holes to be drilled. It has 330 mm throat depth and its drill head is turnable 360? around the column. The versatile machine can be used for operations such as drilling, tapping, reaming, boring, etc.
