Drilling Machine, Radial

Arsun Engineers offers AR series of radial drills, which are designed to offer rigidity, precision and ease of operation. Model AR50 is having drilling capacity of 50 mm in steel and 60 mm in cast iron. Its drilling motor power is 2.2 kW and arm lifting motor power is 1.1 kW. The machine has robust structure with generously provided ribs and appropriate wall thickness for base-plate, arm, inner column and column sleeve and the whole machine is rigidly built to withstand static as well as severe dynamic loads. The drill-head comprises of a compact gearbox, fitted with heat-treated alloy steel gears on splined shafts running on anti-friction bearings in an oil bath, offers 8 speeds and 4 auto feeds. Speed range is 45 to 1100 RPM, auto feed range is 0.05 to 0.2 mm per rev of spindle and drilling radius is 535/1375. The spindle sleeve is made of alloy steel, hardened and ground and splined shafts, and feed shafts are nitrided. It has 250 mm of ram travel, which allows deep holes to be drilled and the whole ram and spindle assembly is balanced by counter weight for its easy movement. This versatile machine can be used in small and big workshops, engineering industries, fabrication shops, dies, tools and mould manufacturing, machine-tools builders, automobile and shipbuilding industries, railways, defence, etc.
