Salient features: streamlined design, compact construction; wide range of spindle speeds; easy back gear engagement gives slow speed range, facilitates tapping; gun metal bushes are provided in gear sets; a fine feed arrangement for boring work; and special type spindle can be supplied on request for milling work by using compound slide.
