Drilling, Counterboring & Thread Milling System

Komet Prazisionswerkzeuge Robert Breuning GmbH offers the Vabos-M Tool System for variable drilling, counterboring and thread milling. The system consists of: tool adapter, which incorporates the disposable tip pockets for the counterboring and chamfering operations; ground T- and V-disposable tips for these counterboring and chamfering operations; and central drilling thread milling or drill and thread milling tool with helical clamping area (Federal German Patent) to DIN 6535 HE. The advantages of the this Vabos-M system are: maximum stability; high runout precision; correct position of the disposable tips for chamfering and counterboring in relation to the central tool, and variable, easily adjustable drill length, thread milling tool length or drill and thread milling tool length; and economically efficient tool solution for machining holes with a variety of large diameters.
