Osborn Lippert has introduced ATB – the advanced technology brushes with high tech abrasive filaments. The designation stands for: A – Abrasive filament with a high density of abrasive grit; T – considerably shorter operating times; and B – Better than anything known before. For deburring operation, 3 parameters of a brush are extremely important, namely, Abrasive filament, Time of operation and Brush making technology. These three things make ATB the perfect deburring tool. ATB has various advantages over other products. It has a lower cost per piece, high safety along with reduced set-up costs and lesser down times. It is dimensionally stable even with longer trim lengths and high rotational speeds. That’s why the ATB is having extremely longer life span. The company uses latest technology filaments with high density of abrasive grit to make the powerful deburring tool, which can be used with coolants. ATB is having shorter operating times and very even edge blending particularly suitable for deburring of: machined surfaces; sintered products; stamping and mouldings; diecast part; cylinder heads; motor units; hydraulic parts; and pneumatic parts. The ATB disc brushes have 4 times higher fill density than other conventionally manufactured disc brushes like punched brushes. With this improved arrangement, the brush life is increased many times over with quicker processing times as well as better and more efficient results at the same time. ATB is available with different dimensions such as heavy-duty – having maximum fill density and light and medium duty – turboline. Stabilisation of the fill material is possible on request. It is provided with a supportive sleeve, which gives stabilisation to filaments. Arbour hole sizes and adapters are available for all conventional machines.
