C S Khokhar Industries offers a horizontal boring and milling machine. Salient features: highly sophisticated and dependable machine, designed by a team of experienced and qualified engineers; most suitable for rough as well as finishing operations within the operating range of boring, drilling, facing and milling; the various operations that can be successfully performed with the machine are drilling and boring twist drill, bore cutting, counter bore, counter sink, reaming, face milling, vertical milling (attachment provided) and circular milling; the various mechanisms are closed type though the provisions have been made throughout for lubrication facility; all external surfaces are smooth and the machine has a robust design with a guarantee of precision, efficiency and maximum output; all operation-controls are carefully designed so as to be easily accessible; the casting is done with mixture of 25% steel, etc., and seasoned for at least six months to relieve the stress hardness; the machine is manufactured equal to grade-1 standard; main bed column and stay support columns are flat and are provided with adjustable taper gibs to adjust the clearance and alignments; rapid movement and feed is also provided; main bed and pillars are ground and accurately finished with grinding machine; all gears are precision cut to ensure smooth and silent running; centralised control for easy operation; headstock and boring stay support both travel simultaneously; longitudinal and cross table traverse, vertical travel of headstock and boring stay support are provided with rapid movements as well as feeds; differential mechanism has been provided to facing head slide for hand and automatic feeds; boring head height setting adjustment by hand operated wheel fitted at the end of feed gearbox motor; hand operated lever attached to headstock drive motor and feed gearbox engagement of speed and feed respectively; and machine manufactured according to Dr Schlesinger?s acceptance test chart.
