Shot Blasting Machines For Graphite Plates

Graphite plates for molten metal delivery valve in foundry industries are required cleaning on top matting surface for free movement of valves during molten metal free flowing. Mec Shot Blasting Equipments has recently designed, manufactured and commissioned airless shot blasting machine with metallic conveyor belt for automatic efficient shot blasting of graphite plates for molten metal delivery valve. Shot blasting is a mechanical surface preparation process or technique to improve the surface cleaning of graphite valve plates by blasting with small balls. Cleaning is achieved on the surface of the graphite plates. The hot job is loaded from right side on the metallic conveyor belt and fed in the blasting cabinet where they get blasted inside the chamber. The valve plates are un-loaded at the end of track on left side after it get cleaned by blowing effect from blower fan. The speed of the belt drive can be regulated by AC drives. The cabinet is duly protected from erosion by liners (hardened wear plates),
