Shot Blasting Machine, ‘Y’ Hanger Type

Mec Shot Blasting Equipments offers ‘Y’ Hanger Type Shot Blasting Machine for fire extinguishers. During manufacturing of fire extinguishers, the steel material gets corroded due to environmental effect. These have to be blast cleaned to prepare the surface for painting. A number of fire extinguisher cylinders can be hung on hangers provided on beams with a motorised trolley to take the job inside the cabinet. The job enters the blast cabinet where it is blasted inside by two powerful upward and downward positioned blast wheels enabling to cover the entire turning circle of components. The duly blasted fire extinguishers come out from the same branch of the Y is pushed inside for blast cleaning. There are two hangers available for saving loading-unloading time making the cycle continuous. The opening and closing of both the doors is pneumatically operated. As the job enters in the blast cabinet, the blast wheel assembly unit fires down the abrasive on the component rotating on conveyor. The spent abrasive falls in to hopper of the cabinet. The abrasive from hopper slides down to the screw conveyors which transfers them to the boot of the bucket elevator. These shots are elevated to the desired height with the help of buckets mounted on rubber belt. This bucket elevator leads the abrasives to air dynamic separation system. The air dynamic separation systems continuously segregate usable abrasive from unusable abrasive and debris. The usable abrasives are transferred into the storage hopper for recirculation purpose. The unusable abrasive and dust laden air enters the dust collector through the side and passes into the setting and equalising compartment. The air then flows up and away from storage hopper causing the heavier dust particle floating upward into filter tube. The clean air passes through the tubes and is exhausted through the blowers.
