Shot Blasting Machine Airless 10 Wheels 60 Tons U Shell

Mec Shot Blasting Equipments has manufactured and supplied an airless 10-wheel, 60-tonne U-shell special purpose PLC operated hanger type shot blasting machine. This is to remove thick scale of metal oxide sticking to inner and outer surface of carbon and alloy steel drum U-shell of minimum 4 tonnes to maximum 60 tonnes weight at a travel speed of 0.3 to 3 metres per minute for job length of 4 to 13 metres. The plant is occupied 45-metre long and 21-metre total space under a shed height of 13.5 metres and operating on utility of approximately 330 kW power requirements and 365 cubic feet per minute air volume. The two separately abrasive recycling systems are provided for each five numbers of blast wheels on each side of the machine. Due to oxide scale removal, the very high chimney of 25 metres height is provided for healthy environment. The special design of spring steel strips inserted rubber curtains sealing are fixed on both sides the machine and the slit on the roof of the machine to allow passing the hanging element is also sealed perfectly with special type of sealing to avoid shot leakages. The plant is also equipped with the additional facility of manual compressed air blasting for final touch up finish for which an improved efficient pure air drying and air boosting system is provided for higher efficiency.
