Airless Shot Blasting Machines

Mec Shot Blasting Equipments has introduced the latest version of Airless Shot Blasting Machines for external cleaning of different sizes of pipes. The airless shot blasting machine has a blast cabinet of sturdy, robust and rugged design, job conveying system, the latest blast wheel station, dust collector and electric control panel. The pipes are placed or fed from input side on skew rollers conveyor of length equal to the maximum length of pipe on both sides of blast cabinet. One conveyor is for entry and one for exit sides. This conveyor is designed to provide the rotational movement about the longitudinal axis of pipe at a same time the pipe is being pushed forward. Hence the both movement of pipe are mechanized due to the V grooved skew rollers are placed at inclined positions and rotations are provided to the V grooved skew rollers by a common drive. This combined rotational and linear forward speeds to pipe are essential for homogenous blasting surface finish. A powerful pair of low maintenance blast wheels of latest design is mounted on the top of blast cabinet, which continuously fires stream of shots along the longitudinal axis of incoming rotating pipes. The conveyor speed is infinitely variable adjustable to meet output requirement. Special attention in the design is paid to: minimizing of wear; quick change over times to other diameters; customising the machine to the specific operational circumstances; and ease of operation. External pipe blasters for pipes of 4" up to 16," wear resistant housing with seal-off system for pipe entrance and exit, abrasive recycling system, dust separation system and strategically located blast wheels are the main assemblies of the machine. The airless shot blasting machine also entails efficient abrasive recovery, separation and control system, which continuously clean the abrasive of dust, debris, oversize and undersize particles. An abrasive control valve is provided which control the quantity of abrasive going into blast wheel unit.
