Since last more than 10 decades, Krebs & Riedel GmbH is into manufacturing of conventional abrasive wheels. With this huge experience in grinding, the company has developed VIT-CBN wheels for different applications like ID grinding, surface grinding, cylindrical grinding, crank shaft grinding, cam shaft grinding, roll grinding and creep feed grinding. Since more than 20 years that the company is producing these wheels, it has developed various types of vitrified bonding systems. With controlled porosities Krebs wheel are capable to operate with cutting speeds up to 140 m/sec. Krebs vitrified bond diamond and CBN wheels are distinguished by their greater efficiency and productivity. Along with long wheel life, they offer high cutting performance at lesser temperatures and without sharpening for prolonged time. Rotary dressing tools such as metal bond diamond cup wheels and diamond dressing rolls can be used for dressing and truing of these wheels. Another form of dressing is ?crush dressing? with steel rolls, which allows producing small radius. The company use crushable bond for these wheels.
