Flap Discs for Grinding of Fillet Welds

PFERD/SWIT offers Flap Discs, Model Polifan-Curve SG-Plus, for precise, aggressive grinding of fillet welds. The new Polifan® Curve SG-Plus flap disc has an innovative radial shape to optimise fillet weld operations on steel and INOX work pieces. The unique radial shape (PFR) offers substantial benefits regarding aggressiveness and extended tool life thanks to the special alignment of the abrasive flaps. Polifan Curve SG-Plus flap discs are specially designed to provide fast, aggressive with a very high rate of material removal. Unique design allows for grinding with not only the bottom and edge of disc, but also with the top edge of disc.
