Ahmedabad-based Sterling Abrasives, an ISO 9002 company, in association with Carborundum Universal Ltd, offers a range of abrasive wheels. The company"s range of F-type wheels are used in various industries, which include auto and auto ancillary, ball bearings and piston rings. The range covers wheels in three type of abrasives: A, AA-DA and C-GC. The other parameters, common to all three abrasive types are: dia - 150-800; thickness - 20-100; grit - 24-180; hardness - G-P; and structure - 5-8. Commonly used machines are: Gardner, Besley, Wellworthy, Matison, Foldage, Modular, Parivartan, Discus, Rollend and Nippi.
