Boron Carbide Paste, Turbolap

Tough Products offers Turbolap Boron Carbide Paste that finds applications in lapping and polishing of various components in following industries: automobiles, compressors, ceramics, pumps and valves, tools and guages, and dies and moulds. Turbolap can cut three times faster then silicon carbide on very hard metal and ceramic hence superior than silicon carbide valve grinding paste. Grit sizes available: grains – # 80, 120, 150, 180, 220, 240, 280, 320, 360, 400, 500, 600, 800, 1000 and 1200. Packaging: standard packings of 200, 500, 1000 and 2000 gm.

• Owing to its stock removal rate and high surface quality obtained only Turbolap boron carbide paste guarantees economical lapping and polishing of precision parts of all types and of all sort of materials
• Surface smoothness below 15 micron can be obtained in two operations – grinding of the surface, coarse grinding of the surface being executed, for instance, finished with grit 250 and finishing with grit 400
• Turbolap boron carbide paste can be used at application temperature upto 350ºC with very little pressure
• Turbolap boron carbide paste can be cleaned from lapped polished surface with the help of benzene of kerosene.
