Delta has announced the next generation uninterruptible power supply (UPS) series ‘NH Plus’ 20 kVA-480 kVA. The new series is designed with efficiency at the forefront for significant electricity savings for the users and with a unique, industry-leading modular structure, providing easy inventory management and minimised Mean Time To Repair (MTTR). With its high efficiency and modular structure, the NH Plus Series delivers remarkably low cost of ownership in terms of both capital expenses and operation expenses. The NH Plus Series maintains 94% efficiency even under 25% loading conditions, making it the first of its kind across the globe. Due to its extreme power efficiency, the NH Plus Series can save customers approximately INR 1,25,000 electricity bills annually (depending on local power costs). Another remarkable cost reduction feature of the series is its hot-swappable modular structure. Each power module delivers 20 kVA high power density in a 3U height chassis. Total power options include 20, 40, 60, 80, 100 up to 480 kVA in two different cabinet styles. With this unique modular structure, the NH Plus Series allows IT managers to protect their data centre facilities from power fluctuations in a flexible and scalable way, resulting in lower initial acquisition costs as well as minimized MTTR and system downtime. In addition, the NH Plus Series ensures a maximum input current Total Harmonic Distortion (iTHD) of less than 3%, meeting the highest standards in the industry, even without adding extra filters.
