Switch Mode Power Supply (SMPS)

The switch mode power supply (SMPS), though smaller in size, gives bigger output. The units are housed in strong and enclosed in metal sheets, which are suitable for panel mounting. Provision is also made for air circulation with cooling fans. Each unit has short circuit and overload protection with regulation and ripple is 1%. Provision is also made to adjust within 10% for the rated output voltage SMPS units are available with different current rating up to 20 A, open PCB: i) Up to 15 W single output in 110 x 85 x 30 N = 5 V 3 A or 180 x 156 x 60 H; ii) Up to 250 W single output 200 x 120 x 60 H or 180 x 156 x 60 H; and iii) 12 V 10 A or 12 V 20 A or 24 V 10 A or 48 V 5 A. All I/O connections are available on wire connections or screw terminals.
