These are low maintenance batteries designed to run with utmost efficiency to overcome all terrain and weather variations. These batteries have been uniquely designed to suit all tropical conditions, incorporating the heat sealing method for better joint strength and inter cell partition welding with FFT (fused fusion welding technology) method that provides longer life.
- Containers/lids – reinforced Polypropylene Container with Pillared design extra tough to provide higher impact resistance and safeguard damage
- Battery plates – ultra thick positive and negative plates, a) Thick pasted plates designed to provide extra strength to withstand continuous discharge, and b) Tubular plates – increases capacity with longer life of battery and improves performance over in high discharge rate
- Separators – the PE with glass matt separator to minimise water losses making the battery maintenance free and prevent internal short circuit
- 'L' shape terminals – 'L' shaped terminals welded for easy installation
- Micro porous ceramic vent plugs – low water evaporation through vent holes and reduces the water loses
- SS fasteners – prevent battery sulphation/corrosion on terminals
- Lead alloy – specially mixed selenium lead alloy used for plate grid casting, it greatly reduces topping up frequencies (low maintenance)
