ASI has introduced 7 new compact DC voltage control system power models to complement any PLC or controller, in a compact space saving design. The new CSD series is available in 5, 12, 15 and 24 V DC with current outputs ranging from .6 up to 3.5 A. Much like the original CSD2 power supply, the new ASI compact power supplies are Class 2 isolation devices which means that they do not require ground connections. This simplifies installation and reduces costs. All of the ASI compact power supplies feature short-circuit, overload, and over temperature protection. These UL 508 listed power supplies mount directly onto the DIN rail and have their functions, descriptions, and wiring information clearly displayed on the front panel. In addition, all of the new ASI compact power supplies have a “universal” rated input voltage of 120-230 V AC, which makes them suitable for use in equipment worldwide.
