Industrial Control & Drives (India) Pvt Ltd offers a range of Battery Charging Equipment manufactured according to IS standards both in construction and performance wise. The equipment is designed to supply required DC current to recharge the battery and also supply the constant DC load of the system. These battery chargers are micro controller based with thyristor power devices. The chargers provide regulated DC output continuously from an AC source. The charger maintains the battery on float voltage on completion of charging. The batteries will be charged in float mode between 1.75 V to 2.4 V and in boost mode 1.88 V to 2.66 V. The charger is capable of automatically switching from float mode to boost mode and boost mode to float mode depending on the current drawn by the battery. The rectifier transformer and chokes are dry type and air-cooled with Class F insulation. Mains isolation/protection is provided through MCB and contactor. Suitable fuses are also provided in the mains and rectifier side.

All meters, control switches, indication lamps, on/off switches are mounted on the hinged front door. The charger cubicle is made out of sheet steel and angle iron frame fabrication. The enclosure is dust and vermin proof self-standing, floor mounting type with bottom cable entry through removable gland plates. The components housed inside the panel are accessed by opening front and back door. Features: micro controller based design; PI control logic to regulate output; soft start for output voltage; auto/manual mode charging; constant voltage (float mode) and constant current (boost mode) charging selected automatically; less DC ripple content with LC filter; digital panel meter are provided in the front panel for input voltage and current, output voltage and current; protection against: abnormal AC input; battery reverse; over voltage and over current; isolated voltage and current feedback taken using hall sensors; and wide range of charger available 12/24/48/110/220 V current up to 150 A maximum.
