Elak Private Limited offers Automatic Battery Chargers designed for precise charging of lead acid, sealed maintenance free, VRLA (valve regulated lead acid) and other batteries. These batteries require a sophisticated charger to charge them in a precisely regulated fashion specified by the manufacturer to avoid irreversible damage through gassing and shortened service life. The Elak Automatic charger meets the charging specifications of a wide range of VRLA and RG sealed batteries very accurately. The charger delivers a measured constant current to the battery until the manufacturer’s specified maximum battery voltage is attained. This voltage is then held constant for a specified period to allow a uniform charge across all the plates. The charger may be left connected indefinitely to a fully charged battery without the fear of over-charging or damage. There are a total of four models: AC 01 (12 V), AC 02 (24 V), AC 03 (12 V and 24 V) and AC 04 (12 V and 24 V). The models AC 03 and AC 04 have 2 end voltages. For charging sealed maintenance free and VRLA batteries the cut-off voltage may be set at 13.8 V and 14.4 V for regular lead acid batteries.
