These systems can be either single charger or parallel redundant type to ensure uninterrupted DC supply.
The alarm functions of these battery chargers are as follows:
- High voltage
- Low voltage
- Regular failure
- Ground (+) fault
- Ground (-) fault
- Single phasing
- Rectifier failure (each diode or SCR)
- Fan failure (in forced cooling system) and line failure
- All equipments are CPRI tested at Bangalore and Bhopal.
