Automotive Batteries

Gokul Auto Industries, an ISO 9001: 2008 company, offers a wide range of Automotive Batteries, manufactured in a modern plant. The container is made of reinforced polypropylene, extra tough to provide higher impact resistance and safe guard against damage. A polypropylene lid is designed to give the container strength and rigidity. PE separators manufactured by world leader Entek Corporation, USA, are used. These separators have very high puncture resistance, low pore diameter and very low resistance. This eliminates shorts through the separators, and ensures no shorts occur between negative and positive plate, during service life. The ultra thin separator allows more acid volume in the cell and very low resistance. The positive and negative battery plates are made from an alloy of low antimony, selenium and arsenic with silver added to the positive plate for extra corrosion resistance. These features ensure that frequent topping up is not necessary and at the same time the plates have a long life. Sandwich assembly is used to assemble the plates in a group, using compression while grouping. This allows for more acid in the cell and a very good support to the active material, thus increasing the life of the positive plat.
