Empire Industries offers Rocket brand Automotive and Inverter Batteries from Global Battery Co Ltd, South Korea (formerly known as Global & Yuasa Battery Co Ltd). The company, with world wide operations across 130 countries around the globe, has a capacity to produce more than 15 million units annually and growing rapidly. It is the 5th largest battery company in the world and has also set the stage rolling to become the biggest manufacturer by catering to the automobile and inverter markets in developing countries such as India and other countries in the Asia Pacific and African regions. The line of products will include a product range that has been specifically developed for the Indian environment. Automobile batteries: car segment, two wheeler segment, three wheelers, heavy vehicles, and for electric vehicles – SMF calcium batteries. Inverter segment: domestic and industrial segments – low maintenance, SMF calcium, tubular, deep cycle, and SMF VRLA batteries. Automotive series (sealed maintenance free batteries): sealed maintenance free for life time, calcium MF battery, pure lead technology (nothing is recycled), made in South Korea with latest technology and 100% precision in product manufacturing, lowest rejection rate of less than 1% (much below the rate averaged internationally).
