Protech Engineering manufactures a range of battery chargers for DG sets and similar applications. Model PE/ABC/X-698 is an automatic battery charger with constant current/constant voltage. Technical specifications: input - 1 (, 230 V ?10%, 50 Hz, AC supply; output - 12 V, 24 V (or as per requirement), 10 A, 15 A; float mode - constant voltage charging at float voltage; boost mode -constant current charging at boost current (max - 10 A); float/boost changeover - automatic by Prologic on primary side of transformer; type of rectifier - full wave bridge (silicon); type of transformer - double wound type; protections - overload, short circuit (in any case the charger will limit the current up to 10 A max), reverse polarity by fuses; indications - Voltage - Current on DPMs, Mains on, Charging on, Reverse Polarity, Float/Boost Mode, Auto/Manual Mode and Battery Status Indicator; dimensions - 290 mm (W) x 330 (H) x 320 (D); and weight - 18 kg maximum.
