Converters For HF Grinders

FEIN Power Tools India is a wholly-owned subsidiary of German manufacturer C & E FEIN GmbH, a company founded in 1867, and inventor of the world’s first power tool. The company offers mobile Single-Station Converters for high-frequency Grinders, the HFS 17-300 and the HFS 27-300, to its high-frequency range. They enable high-frequency grinders to be used at workstations without an HF mains connection. The FEIN HF single-station converters can be connected, on the construction site or in smaller operations, to any 230 V socket with a 16 A fuse without the need for installation and convert the mains frequency to a high-frequency connection at 300 Hz. The FEIN high-frequency angle grinders and straight grinders deliver considerably higher grinding capacity than standard-frequency machines. They are particularly suited to continuous use in metal construction, steel construction, tank construction, shipbuilding and foundries. Models HFS 17-300 and HFS 27-300 have power outputs of 1700 W and 2700 W, respectively. They can also be used on the construction site thanks to their light weights of 5.9 and 8.3 kg. The housing is particularly robust and all of the construction elements are sealed. As they feature no wearing parts, FEIN HF single-station converters are maintenance-free and have a long service life. They satisfy the requirements of protection class IP 44 and are thereby protected from penetration by foreign bodies and splash water. FEIN has been developing high-frequency technologies for professional use in industry and manual trades for more than 50 years.
