RS232/485/422 to Fibre Converter

Model 277 series converter is equipped with a multiple interface circuit that can handle RS-232, or RS-422/485 serial interfaces and multi-mode or single-mode fibre. Model 277 converters are used to extend serial transmission distance up to 2-5 km in multi-mode fibre, or up to 120 km in single mode fibre. Note that the RS232 and RS422/485 interfaces cannot be used on the same model 277 at the same time to convert to fibre. Auto Baud Rate Detection is a key feature of the product. Main features: auto sense serial signal rate, zero delay automatic transmits; 500 kbps the highest baud rate; supply three interface (RS232/RS485/RS422); multi-mode 2-5 km, single-mode 20, 40, 60, 80, 100, 120 km; compact size; decreases signal interference; and DIN rail or wall-mounting. Automatic Baud Rate Detection: Model277 series incorporates a method for automatically detecting the serial signal baud rate by hardware. This is an extremely convenient feature for the user. Even if a device’s baud rate is changed, the signal will still be transmitted through the RS-232 or Rs-422/485 to fibre converter without problem.
