AC-DC Converters

Vishal Agencies offers KP series of AC-DC converters, manufactured by Melcher AG, Switzerland, with power factor correction (PFC) and galvanic isolation between input and output, along with 2 galvanically - separated outputs. For input voltage ranges of 187 V AC to 255 V AC, these deliver output power of 250 W at ambient temperatures of up to 60?C without derating. These converters are available with 2 output configurations, either with 2 x 24 V or as battery chargers with variable output voltages. The 24 V outputs can be loaded with 5.2 A independently of one another. Ratings are connected in parallel, 10.4 A at 24 V, in series of 5.2 A at 48 V. The battery charger configurations offer possibility of setting up UPS. In this instance, the temperature of the lead accumulators are measured by sensors available as accessories, and the output voltages of the converters are controlled according to the accumulators and the ambient temperatures, within range of 25.25 V to 28.25 V for 24 V lead accumulators and 50.5 V to 56.5 V for 48 V accumulators.
