Soluble cutting oil

Kutsol-S is water soluble, possessing anti-corrosive properties. This oil is prepared so as to form permanent emulsion when mixed with water. Since cooling is the important function of this oil, it is formulated with three objectives in mind: high specific heat, good thermal conductivity and high heat of vapourisation. Though water can serve these objectives, the necessary amount of lubrication and rust preventive depends on the additive which is formulated specially for this purpose. Kutsol-S withstands high degree of hardness of water up to 400 ppm and gives permanent emulsion. Another important factor, kept in mind while manufacturing Kutsol-S is the possibility of bacterial development in the emulsion because of non-sterlised water. Kutsol-S contains anti-septic compound which avoids the bacterial growth and bad smell in the emulsion after some time.
