Metering Cartridges

Drip Lub offers Fixed Amount Cartridges Oil Lubrication System. In any lubrication system, the quantity of lubricant is of utmost importance. Shot lubrication is a popular system used in industries. Normally, fixed dose piston type cartridges are used. Drip Lub offers orifice type fixed amount cartridges. These are made of brass normally with 1/8"BSP, and male threads at both ends (5/16"UNF threads are also possible). NRV is provided to avoid back flow of oil after dosing. These cartridges give doses at pre-set pressure. Advantages of these cartridges are: they are available in standard threads; are compact in size; operate at low pressure of 2-4 kg/cm3; larger range (1-120 drops/min); doses can be adjusted by changing running time or pressure of the lubrication unit; at lower pressure also lubrication takes place and avoids dry running of the machine; doses can be set in on-line running condition also; low pressure reduces leakage problem; and there are no moving parts. Doses of cartridges change with the change in viscosity of oil. To get better effect one has to use line filter near the pumping end.
