Grease Transfer Station

Cenlub Systems has introduced a central grease transfer solution from standard 200 ltr drums. This is available in two versions based on grease NLGI grades: mechanical lifting device (up to NLGI grade 1) and pneumatically operated device (up to NLGI grade 2), fully equipped with a panel to control and monitor the pneumatic pump, and a follower plate. Drum remains at its position, when the following plate is withdrawn. The unit is complete with flexible air hoses for the pump and the hoist. The follower plate serves two purposes – primary being the positive suction of grease avoiding any air trapping and secondary being a protective cover when the pump is not in use. Residual grease with this system is very less and provides a clean and efficient way of transferring and filling grease in smaller reservoirs from the drum. It is easy to change the drum and to change operation and with little physical effort. This tidy way of working avoids slippery floors and prevents accidents. This pump arrangement is very useful for plants where grease consumption is very high. When used with Cenlub metering systems (progressive distributors), these pump assemblies are very useful for accurate fast grease dispensing (for grease up to NLGI grade 2) on assembly lines having grease-filling operation. Multiple options are available in pneumatic pumps to choose from based on discharge, pressure and other operating conditions.
