Lubricant, Dry Film Type

Modcarb India offers Superlube Dry Film Lubricant. This is a paint-on lubricant which, when applied to any dry surface, leaves a dry lubricating film. It offers numerous advantages over conventional oil based lubricants, viz., being a dry film, it will not pick up dust or dirt, which makes it ideal for use in open dusty conditions; being a dry film it will not get squeezed out under heavy loads; the coating being chemically inert, protects the surface from rust, corrosion, acids fumes, salt air, alkalis, salt air and severe weathering conditions; the coating can withstand high temperatures and hence works well at applications involving high temperatures; and it outlasts conventional oil based lubricants by 10:1 thus proving most economical. Low co-efficient of thermal expansion, high affinity for metals, chemical inertness, non toxicity, heat conductivity, electrical conductivity, excellent parting ability, etc., are some of the other attributes that make Superlube an ideal choice for supplementing or replacing conventional lubricants to meet the requirements of the most demanding and difficult industrial environments. The range of dry film lubricants includes Superlube No: 3 and Superlube No: 4 for quick drying applications and Superlube R&H with epoxy bonding for heavy-duty applications and highly corrosive conditions.
