Corrosion Inhibitor Oil

International Trade Ways offers Corrosion Inhibitor Oil. ARC oil is a yellowish brown liquid that forms a protecting film on the object and prevents them from atmospheric corrosion. This oil acts as "contact corrosion inhibitor" and is highly effective in protecting ferrous metals from corrosion. It forms a uniform film on the object surface, which acts as a barrier between the object and the corrodants in the environment. In can be used by any of the following methods: the concentrated (80%) oil can be diluted to 10% solution with solvents like mineral turpentine oil or kerosene by mixing in the ratio of 1:7. The object to be protected can be dipped into the solution for coating. For large objects, diluted solution can be brushed or spayed on the surface. The diluted solution (10%) will give coverage of 5 gram of active ingredient per square meter of the area. This is sufficient to arrest corrosion effectively. Protection period is 6 to 8 months at ambient temperature. Ideal use: protection of automobile spare pads, engineering products in transit or storage, weapons, defence, machine tools, meant for exports, engine valves, hobs, ball bearings, precision tools, switch gears, panel boards, electronic components, wire mesh, steel wires, maintenance tools which are stored in store room; and as an additive in medium while cutting and grinding of tools.
