Anticorrosive Equipment

Antico is a major manufacturer of injection moulded polypropylene pumps in India. These are for handling highly corrosive and aggressive liquids for various industries like chemicals, drugs and pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, dyes and intermediates, textile, steel, chlor alkalies, electroplating, thermal and nuclear power plants, paper and pulp, copper/zinq smelters, rayon and staple fibre, and pesticides. The PP pumps have various applications like: acid and alkaly tanker loading and unloading; scrubbing corrosive gases like Cl, Br, I, etc; water and waste water treatment plants; pickling and recirculation of acid in cold rolling; against filter press for dyes and intermediates; descaling of heat exchangers and boilers; and, recirculation of highly corrosive chemicals for various industries. The newly introduced third generation EXP Series pumps are available with Dura make Teflon bellow mechanical seal. Other features are: ceramic shaft sleeve for most of the highly corrosive applications; double row ball bearings for low shaft deflection to give long life to mechanical seal; and, solid injection moulded volute casing, back plate and impeller. PVDF impeller is also available for higher temperatures. The EXP Series pumps are available for capacity up to 75 m3/hr and head up to 40 metres. The company has also introduced PPCL Series pumps for higher capacity (up to 250 m3/hr) and heads (up to 50 metres). These pumps are most suitable for large quantity of effluent handling in common effluent treatment plants.
