Reverse Air Bag House (RABH)

Clair Group, established in 1992, has evolved over the years into an industrial support organisation catering primarily to cement, building materials and allied process industries. The company manufactures: reverse air bag houses (RABH); pulse jet bag filters; electrostatic precipitators (ESPs); industrial fans; heat exchangers; high efficiency cyclones; and water spray systems for gas cooling. Reverse air bag house (RABH), which is ideally suited for large volume process applications in a wide range of industries including cement, power and minerals processing. The RABH offers advantages of very few moving parts and gentle reverse air cleaning, which prolongs filter bag life. The inherent low air-to-cloth ratios make the filter more responsive to upset conditions, important in many continuous process applications. RABHs are most commonly used for kiln exhaust gas venting in cement industry. A typical RABH is constructed in modules to facilitate off-line cleaning. Any one module will be under cleaning while filtration takes place in other modules. The cleaning sequence shall be programmed in the PLC maintain bag house pressure drop below 150 mm WC. All the modules are provided with pneumatic operated dampers to facilitate isolation during cleaning. The filter bags are suspended from top with help of ?J? hook assembly and springs for proper tensioning and with quick release clamps at bottom tube sheet to hold bags and also to prevent any dirty gas escape to clean air side. Inlet and outlet gas plenums are designed to ensure uniform gas flow to all modules with least resistance. The balanced gas distribution concept employed in design of plenums facilitates equal distribution of gases to all modules. The bag house is designed to ensure an emission level below 50 mg/Nm3
