Quartz Filtration, High Temperature

Silicate Research & Development Centre has developed a range of Quartz Filters for high temperature filtration, for the first time in India. These are manufactured from high purity quartz sand, better than 99.99% purity. These quartz filters find application in the areas of acid; high temperature; corrosive gas; radioactive and alkali filtration. Porosity grades available are 00; 0; 1; 2; 3 and 4. These quartz filtered discs or quartz filtering crucibles currently available, range from dia (ø) 2 mm to 100 mm and thickness varying from 2 mm to 10 mm. The sizes are industry standards. The company also manufactures custom sizes as per requirements. These discs can be fused to quartz vessels for a variety of filtering applications.
